Mr Raymond Lim, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Finance and Foreign Affairs, will attend the 2nd ASEAN Finance Ministers Investor Seminar, from 20-21 September in London, UK. The Investor Seminar is an ongoing initiative first launched by the ASEAN Finance Ministers in 2004 to raise investor awareness towards ASEAN and its individual member countries.
After the Seminar, Minister Lim will proceed to Washington DC to attend the 2005 Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, from 24-25 September. The Annual Meetings will discuss issues concerning global economic development, poverty alleviation, and international financial stability.
Minister Lim will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
