2018 Budget Statement to be delivered on Monday, 19 February 2018
Singapore’s FY2018 Budget Statement will be delivered by the Minister for Finance, Mr Heng Swee Keat, on Monday, 19 February 2018 in Parliament.
There will be live television and radio coverage of the Budget Statement. A live webcast of the delivery of the Budget Statement will be available on the Singapore Budget Website (
www.singaporebudget.gov.sg
). The Budget Statement will be uploaded on the Singapore Budget website after the speech has been delivered.
Real-time updates of key announcements from the Budget Statement will be posted on the MOF Facebook page (
www.facebook.com/MOFsg
) and the MOF Twitter account (
www.twitter.com/MOFsg
).
Feedback on Budget 2018
A Pre-Budget Facebook Q&A session will be held on Thursday, 4 January 2018 from 8.00pm to 9.00pm. Members of the public are welcome to join the ‘live’ Q&A session on REACH’s Facebook page (
www.facebook.com/REACHSingapore
). The Q&A will be chaired by Mr Liang Eng Hwa, Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee (GPC) for Finance and Trade & Industry, and a member of the REACH Supervisory Panel member, and by Ms Cheryl Chan, a member of the GPC for Finance and Trade & Industry.
Singaporeans can also share their views and suggestions in person on Budget 2018 at the following REACH Pre-Budget Listening Points. These Listening Points are easily accessible, open booths for Singaporeans to share their feedback.
