The Public Accountants Board (PAB) and the Registry
of Companies and Businesses (RCB) merged to form the
Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA)
on 1 April 2004. The ACRA Bill 2004, Accountants Bill
2004 and the Companies (Amendment) Bill 2004 were passed
by Parliament on 6 February 2004.
