PM Lee had recently announced that the date for Budget 2009 will be brought forward from February to January 2009.

2. The 2009 Budget Speech will be delivered in Parliament on Thursday, 22 January 2009. Parliament will sit to debate the Budget from 3 February 2009.

3. With this change, the closing date for the Budget feedback exercise will be brought forward to 31 Dec 2008.
