The Government Administration Sector consists of the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the Ministry of Law (MinLaw), the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the Organs of State.

The sector focuses on achieving an effective and efficient Government administration for Singapore. This comprises several aspects:

Lean and Effective Government Administration

Achieve greater value for money through initiatives such as the Centre for Shared Services;

 

 

 

 

Optimise land resources through innovative and market-driven land policies; and

 

 

 

 

Nurture a dynamic and forward-looking public service through training and development.

 

Partnerships with the Private and People Sectors

Develop a financial infrastructure and business regulatory environment that is conducive to business and growth;

 

 

 

 

Harness the expertise of the private sector through initiatives such as best sourcing; and

 

 

 

 

Provide a system for the administration of insolvency cases that protects, balances and realises the interest of all stakeholders.

 

Flexible and Responsive Public Service

Simplify and streamline access to Government services through the Government-wide Customer Relationship Management programme and Unique Establishment Identifier;

 

 

 

 

Enhance access to Government services through the m-Government programme; and
