| 4.29 Second, RECORD IV has recommended
doing more for NS key appointment holders. They
occupy critical command and staff posts. They
bear heavier responsibilities in leading their
units, keeping the SAF operationally ready, and
transforming the SAF into a third-generation fighting
force. They are called up for more In-Camp Trainings
(ICTs) and serve longer during each ICT than other
NSmen. I have therefore decided to grant NS key
appointment holders an additional tax relief of
$2,000 over and above the tax relief that they
would normally receive as NSmen.
