3.25 The Edusave Merit Bursary is targeted at
students from lower middle-income families who
have performed in the top 25% of their level and
stream. Since 1995, we have maintained the household
income threshold at $3,000. I have decided to
increase the income threshold to $4,000 so that
an additional 17,000 students can benefit from
the bursary.
