3.24 Next, we will provide more support for kindergarten
and childcare, to help children from needy families
to become “school-ready”. The Kindergarten
Financial Assistance Scheme will help with the
start-up cost of sending their child to kindergarten.
We will also enhance childcare subsidies for the
first and second child under the Centre-based
Financial Assistance for Childcare scheme.
