|
The Government Administration sector focuses on achieving
Good Government for Singapore. This comprises several
aspects:
|
|
The expertise of the private sector will be harnessed
through initiatives such as best sourcing. The Government
will develop a financial infrastructure and business
regulatory environment that is conducive to business
and growth, and provide a system for the administration
of insolvency cases that protects, balances and realises
the interest of all stakeholders.
|
|
Almost all feasible e-services have been made available
on-line. The Government will continually improve the
integrated e-services to make them more customer-centric,
so that citizens will be able to access more public
services anytime, anywhere.
|
|
The Government will seek to deliver the most value
from limited resources through initiatives such as the
Zero-In-Process (ZIP) and the Economy Drive. The nation’s
land resources will be maintained to enhance their value.
Training and development will be provided to nurture
a forward-looking public service.
|
|
The Government will effectively administer justice,
uphold the rule of law and enhance access to justice.
It will also seek to inculcate core values in all civil
servants.
