3.59 The issues involved in growing our services
sector cut across various Government agencies.
Given that it is impractical to designate a single
agency to resolve diverse economic and social
objectives, the Government agrees with the ERC
recommendation to set up a Ministerial Committee
on Services, which I will chair, to coordinate
policy and make the necessary trade-offs.
